Apply fertilizer to prevent pests

Many fertilizers have killing and repellent effects on pests, and ingenious fertilization has the effect of controlling pests.
Phosphate fertilizer Helicoverpa armigera is sensitive to phosphorus during spawning, and escapes when exposed to phosphorus. During the spawning period of the cotton bollworm, 2% superphosphate leaching solution is sprayed, and every 5 to 6 畦 is left without spraying, which can drive the cotton bollworm to concentrate on spawning, so as to eliminate it centrally.
Silicon-calcium fertilizer, corn, soybean and other crops, 30 to 40 kilograms of silicon-calcium fertilizer per acre, can avoid corn mash and bean worms. Rice, wheat and other crops, 20 to 30 kilograms of silicon and calcium fertilizer per acre, can greatly reduce the damage of sticky insects. Nitrogen fertilizer urea, ammonium bicarbonate, ammonia water, three kinds of nitrogen fertilizers are volatile, and have certain stimulation, corrosion and fumigation effects on pests. Spraying plants with 250-800 g of urea plus 100 kg of washing powder and 150 kg of water can control pests such as red spiders and aphids.
The grass ash is taken from 20 kg of grass ash, soaked in 80 kg of water for one day and night, and the filtrate is sprayed to effectively control the mites. In the onion, garlic, and leeks, 20 to 30 kilograms of grass ash per acre of ditch can not only prevent root lice but also increase yield. Microscope Cover

The cover glass is covered on the material on the glass slide, which can avoid the contact between the liquid and the objective lens, so as not to contaminate the lens, and can make the top of the observed cells in the same plane, that is, the distance from the objective lens is the same, so that the observed Images are clearer.Why do you need a coverslip when using a microscope

1. Make the object to be observed form a thin film, which is easy to transmit light and easy to observe;
2. Make the specimen relatively fixed;
3. It is convenient to use the capillary phenomenon to form a gradient when adding various reagents (staining agent, acid, salt solution);
4. Avoid contamination of the specimen.

The purpose of staining the specimen with iodine solution is to make the cells more obvious under the microscope, and it can also kill the cells and prevent the cells from migrating.
