The four major state-owned banks already have the conditions for accepting the issuance of financial IC cards, and the UnionPay interbank trading system has supported the transfer and liquidation of financial IC card transactions. At the same time, the root key system of the IC card has been completed.

China UnionPay has an optimistic outlook for the promotion and application of intelligent financial IC cards. Xu Jinyao, deputy general manager of its product innovation department, believes that the conservative estimate is that financial IC cards should be capable of breaking 20 million in five years. According to briefings, at present there are no cases of financial IC cards being copied internationally.

Built-in CPU chip is difficult to be copied

Wei Gang introduced the financial IC card installed with a CPU chip and also adopted a new generation of asymmetric key management technology. Wei Gang believes that compared with the magnetic stripe card, the financial IC card installed on the chip can not only store fingerprints and other complex encrypted information, prevent the card data from being copied, and its reading system will also be fully upgraded. The function of identifying genuine and fake cards is also greatly enhanced. Increased and therefore more secure.

At the same time, financial IC cards are used more than once, which will reorganize the domestic bank card market. Wei Gang believes that the situation of one person holding Doka will improve, and the idleness of bank cards will lead to an improvement in the waste of resources.
