At present, there are nearly 70 wind turbine equipment manufacturers in China, including 29 state-owned and state-controlled enterprises, 23 private enterprises, 10 foreign-funded enterprises, and 8 joint-venture enterprises. Among the state-owned enterprises, nearly 20 have developed megawatt wind turbines. Among them, Goldwind, Huarui and Dongqi have the main market share in the country, and other enterprises also occupy some markets. The total number of wind power equipment parts manufacturing enterprises has exceeded 100, and there are only 50 blade factories. Among foreign-funded enterprises, Vestas, Gamesa, GE Wind, Suzlon and Nordex account for 24.6% of China's market share, and they have advantages in terms of unit performance, product quality and after-sales service. Private enterprises are an important aspect of China's wind power equipment manufacturing industry, but compared with state-owned enterprises, private enterprises have greater pressure to survive. The development of capital enterprises in China is not very good. It may be that there are differences in ideas and some specific analysis is needed. Five major constraints to the development of China's wind energy industry

The first is the detailed investigation and evaluation of wind energy resources. The correct assessment of wind energy resources is the basis for formulating wind power development planning, power grid construction planning, and wind energy resource development and management. At present, the capacity coefficient and power generation of a considerable part of wind farms in China have been lower than the international average. The average equivalent load hours are less than 2,000 hours, and some are even less than 1500 hours. One of the important reasons is wind energy. The resource assessment work is not done well enough.

Secondly, the independent research and development capabilities of wind turbines are still very weak. At present, most of the wind turbines operating in China's wind farms are domestically produced units, but the key technologies and core technologies are still not fully understood. From "Made in China" to "Created in China", a process is needed. As a wind power country, to make the wind energy industry bigger and stronger, we must establish a technological innovation system that takes enterprises as the main body and combines production, learning and research. The third is that the quality of wind power equipment products is still unstable. Due to the fierce competition in the wind power equipment manufacturing industry, some enterprises have focused on the development of the production capacity as early as possible. The fourth is that wind farm construction and power grid construction have not yet achieved harmonious development. If a company does not have 15% to 20% of senior technical workers, the quality control of wind turbines is difficult to guarantee.
