Article 1 These rules apply to the planning and design of parking lots in large and medium-sized cities and key tourist areas. Small cities may refer to implementation.
The second parking lot for private and public buildings shall in principle be within the scope of the main building land.
Article 3 Traffic signs must be set up in the motor vehicle parking lot in accordance with the national standard GB5768-86 "Road Traffic Signs and Marking Lines", and traffic markings should be planned.
Article 4 The entrance and exit of motor vehicle parking lots should have a good view. Entrances and exits from pedestrian crossings, tunnels and bridges, tunnel approach roads must be greater than 50 meters; distances from intersections must be greater than 80 meters.
Article 5 When the parking space index of motor vehicles is more than 50, the number of entrances and exits shall not be less than 2; when there are more than 500, the entrances and exits shall not be less than 3. The clearance between the entrance and exit shall be greater than 10 meters, and the width of the entrance and exit shall not be less than 7 meters.

Article 6 The parking mode in the parking lot of motor vehicles shall be based on the principle of small floor space, convenient evacuation and safety. The main parking mode is shown in Figure 1.

Article 9 The clearance between vehicles parked in the parking lot shall not be less than that specified in Table 3.
Article 10 The width of the main passage in the parking lot of a motor vehicle shall not be less than 6 meters.
Article 11 The radius of the curve of the motor vehicle parking lot shall not be less than that specified in Table 4.
Article 12 The maximum longitudinal slope of the motor vehicle parking lot passage shall not exceed the provisions of Table 5.
Article 13 Bicycle parking lots are not located in the vicinity of intersections in principle. The entrance and exit should be no less than two, and the width should be no less than 2.5 meters.
Article 14 The bicycle parking mode shall be based on the principle of convenient access. The main parking mode is shown in Figure 2.
Article 15 The main design indicators of bicycle parking lots shall not be less than the provisions of Table 6.
Article 16 The parking space indicator of a public bicycle parking lot refers to the parking space indicator for attracting foreign bicycles.
The parking space indicator of the special bicycle parking lot shall not be less than 30% of the number of employees of the unit.
Article 17 The parking space parking spaces for all types of buildings shall be not less than those specified in Tables 7 to 18.
Article 18 The public security traffic management departments and urban planning departments of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government may formulate detailed rules in light of local actual conditions, report to the local people's government for approval, and report to the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Construction for the record.
Article 19 These rules shall be interpreted by the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Construction.
Article 20 These Provisions shall be implemented as of January 1, 1989.
