As a result, researchers and hand-held companies in the fields of raw materials, fibers, and garments have joined forces to develop this special "nano-fabric" for two years. Their special antibacterial ingredients can penetrate cell walls and hinder the metabolism of bacteria. Enzyme production, the destruction of genetic factors, the bacteria lose their biochemical and complete the sterilization process.

This means that if someone with athlete's foot wears socks made of this special nano-fabric, even if their feet sweat, they do not have to worry about emitting an odor.

It is reported that during the two years since the project was developed, it has published 14 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals, applied for 9 national invention patents, and has authorized 1 item. The technological achievements have been promoted and applied in related cooperative enterprises, and 14 types of powder, fibers, yarns, and fabrics with 14 intellectual property rights have been developed. By September of this year, antibacterial function series products have cumulatively produced an output value of nearly 50 million yuan and a new profit of 9 million yuan.

It is understood that nanotechnology is currently a hot topic in the scientific community. In the forthcoming National Twelfth Five-Year Plan, the application of new materials, such as nanomaterials, has been included in the list of newly emerging industries that are under development.
