The Qingyuan Electrolytic Aluminum Solid Waste Harmless Treatment Project in Huolinguole City has a total investment of 33 million yuan and covers an area of ​​6,000 square meters. The project is constructed in two phases. The first phase mainly constructs an electrolytic cell overhaul slag harmless treatment production line. The design scale is to treat 20,000 tons of overhauled slag for electrolyzers in the year. In the second phase, a waste aluminum ash harmless treatment resource recycling production line is mainly constructed, and 20,000 tons of aluminum ash is handled annually.

Up to now, the cumulative investment for the first phase of the project has been approximately 19 million yuan. All equipment has been installed and the test conditions are in place. Environmental protection acceptance procedures are being processed. The second phase of the project is scheduled to start in the spring of 2018 and it will be put into operation by the end of the year.
