d) Within 300mm of the outer wall surface around the door and window frame, apply two coats of waterproof paint to reduce the chance of rain leakage;

e) The wind-drawing surface or the rain-washing surface shall prevent the rain from seepage through the filling material between the door, the window and the wall, and properly consider the water stop baffle or other waterproof coating to increase the impermeability;

f) When the window frame junction is to be filled with plastic slot, the width is 5-8mm. When injecting the sealing material, remove the floating ash, mortar, etc. to make the sealing material firmly bonded to the window frame and wall. At the same time, check whether the sealing material is continuous, whether it is missing or not, especially if there are capillary holes in the corner transfer position; use two or more seals on the exterior wall of the veneer brick to avoid capillary water penetration;

g) The spacers shall not be allowed to remain in the door or window frame, and shall be filled and compacted in a timely manner after removal. Reliable bonding between the filler and the substrate shall be ensured, and the substrate shall be wet except for the residue;

h) The outdoor sill should be less than 20mm below the sill plate in the interior, and set up a smooth water slope, and the drainage of rainwater can be unblocked to prevent the penetration of accumulated water. Aluminum doors and windows must have a certain distance from the wall to avoid direct rainwater scouring.

i) The materials, specifications and connection methods of the door and window connector shall comply with the requirements of the local "Aluminum Doors and Windows Technical Regulations". The anchor shall be sealed with mortar or mortar in time to avoid the movement of the sealing material caused by the wind load.
