Multi-step milling fixture
The P_1, P_2, C_1, C_2 plane and 5mm channel of the fork of our factory (Fig. 1) need to be divided into three processes on different machine tools: P_1 surface is processed by cylindrical milling cutter on vertical milling, and the head is installed and processed. On the P_2 side, use two three-sided edge milling cutters to simultaneously mill C_1 and C_2 on the horizontal milling to ensure the size of 125±0.1mm→milling the groove in the horizontal milling. This requires designing 3 sets of special milling clips.
