Structural and functional characteristics of hydraulic reversing valves O, H, M and Y

The function of the hydraulic directional control valve in the hydraulic system is to change the direction of the oil flow in the hydraulic circuit, control the start and stop of the actuator and change the direction of movement of the actuator. 1, O type

1Structural features: P means oil inlet, T means oil return, A, B means working oil port. In the middle position, each port is completely closed and the oil does not circulate.

2 function features:

a. The inlet and return ports of the working device are closed, and the working mechanism can be fixed at any position to be stationary. Even if there is external force, the working mechanism cannot be moved or rotated, and thus cannot be used for the mechanism with hand crank.

b. It is relatively stable from stop to start, because the working mechanism is filled with oil in the oil return chamber, which can act as a buffer. When the pressure oil pushes the working mechanism to start moving, the speed will not be too fast due to the influence of oil resistance. The inertia of the moving motion causes a large hydraulic shock.

c. The hydraulic pump cannot be unloaded.

d. The position of the reversing position is high.

2, H type

1Structural features: In the middle position, each port is fully open and the system has no oil pressure.

2 function features:

a. The oil inlet P and the oil return port T are all connected with the working oil ports A and B, so that the working machine is in a floating state, and can be moved under the action of an external force, and can be used for a mechanism with a hand shake.

b. The hydraulic pump can be unloaded.

c. There is an impact from stop to start. Because the oil returning to the oil chamber has flowed back to the tank when the working mechanism is stopped, no oil acts as a buffer. When the brakes are connected, the brakes are smoother than the O-type.

d. For a single-rod double-acting cylinder, since the effective working area on both sides of the piston is not equal, the spool valve using this function cannot completely guarantee that the piston is in a stopped state.

3, M type

1Structural features: In the middle position, the working oil ports A and B are closed, and the oil inlet port P and the oil return port T are directly connected.

2 function features:

a. Since the working ports A and B are closed, the working mechanism can remain stationary.

b. The hydraulic pump can be unloaded.

c. Cannot be used in institutions with hand cranks.

d. It is stable from stop to start.

e. The inertia caused by the motion inertia during braking is large.

f. It can be used in the hydraulic circuit where the oil pump is unloaded and the hydraulic cylinder is locked.

4, Y type

1Structural features: In the middle position, the oil inlet P is closed, and the working oil ports A and B are connected with the oil return port T.

2 function features:

a. Because the working oil ports A and B are in communication with the oil return port T, the working mechanism is in a floating state, and can move with the action of an external force, and can be used for a mechanism with a hand shake.

b. From the stop to the start of some impact, from the static to the start of the impact, braking performance between type 0 and H type.

c. The hydraulic pump cannot be unloaded.
