U.S. methanol spot prices continue to decline

Sinochem Xinxun's trading in the methanol market continued to be light. On April 14, the spot price of US methanol continued to decline by 0.5 cents/gal. Market sources said that the spot price for April was negotiated at 105-106 cents/gallon FOB US Gulf and a single transaction was completed at 105.5 cents/gallon FOB US Gulf. Market assessment price is 106.25 cents/gallon FOB US Gulf. The price for May is 107 cents/gallon FOB US Gulf.
