Weichai Power launches Wei Xun V-Share energy efficient engine

At present, China has a problem of low efficiency in energy use. The rapid growth of GDP in recent years has been largely achieved by consuming large amounts of material resources. According to estimates, China's energy consumption per dollar of GDP is 4.3 times that of the United States and 11.5 times that of Japan.
By 2020, we will have to quadruple our GDP. Even if we double the energy, we will have great difficulties in ensuring energy supply. If we continue to use the traditional development model to achieve industrialization with a large amount of resources, the resource demand of our country will be close to the sum of resource consumption of other countries in the world, which is unsustainable.
Take Shanghai as an example. There are about 18,000 buses in the city, of which more than 80% are “drinking” diesel. The person in charge of a bus company in Shanghai revealed that if the price of diesel per liter rises by one horn, the company will need to pay several million yuan more oil a year. It is reported that the company has quickly convened high-level leaders and plans to convene a board of directors to discuss solutions.
At the beginning of Weichai Power's entry into the passenger car power market, considering the energy situation in China and the instability of the international oil market, economics was included in one of the highest design principles. Therefore, Weichai Power has launched the VI-V-Share high-efficiency energy-saving engine, which is based on the WD615/618 and 226B series, which is famous for its high reliability and economy. It has made passenger-specific engines appear in the passenger car power market.
Under the almost paranoid research of Weichai Power's engineers, the two series of special-purpose engines for passenger cars have achieved outstanding performance in actual combat and are widely praised. For example, the 12-meter bus is equipped with the diesel-fired 320-horsepower passenger car engine. Even if the air conditioner is fully loaded and air-conditioned, the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is not more than 25 liters. Compared with other diesel engines of the same power class, the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is about 3 liters, while the fuel consumption of the oil is The ratio reached an incredible 0.15%.
The fuel consumption of 194g/kWh set by the Weichai passenger car engine is expected to become the new standard for power-saving of passenger cars, and maintains a stable fuel consumption from 60 to 140 km/h. Through the actual detection of 320, 360 horsepower engines, taking ultra-long-line passenger transportation as an example: one shift in 7 days, the average annual mileage is 300,000 kilometers, and the fuel saving per 100 kilometers is 3 liters, saving 9000 liters per year.
According to the current diesel unit price of 3.67 yuan / liter, the savings of 9000 × 3.67 = 33030 yuan, equivalent to the annual salary of an ordinary driver. It can be seen that Weichai Power uses its own fuel-saving technology to save energy and bring great benefits to consumers.
Building a conservation-oriented society and doing a good job of resource and energy conservation and environmental friendliness are important contents for fully implementing the scientific development concept and building a socialist harmonious society. The passenger car power industry with diesel and natural gas as the main fuels is even more responsible.
